Mission Statement

Potomac Legal Aid Society, Inc. (Potomac) is a not-for-profit law firm that offers free legal services to eligible low-income individuals with civil matters in the areas of domestic violence and family law, consumer debt issues, bankruptcy and the denial of public benefits.  We offer telephone legal advice, brief services, and extended legal representation.  Our firm is experienced in addressing the civil legal problems that typically face low-income individuals, and provides prompt, courteous and high quality legal assistance.  Potomac also provides civil legal information through this Website, community education seminars and clinics.
